My cousin from Knysna said that Lookout beach was no more, so I presume this
photo just backs it up!

At least you can fish from the Lookout deck while drinking a beer.

Geez, by the looks of the surrounding towns, I'm amazed that we didn't! Thankfully, we came off light this year.

This is the second year running that we experienced floods! Last year struck George much more heavily. We had something like 400mm rain in 24 hours last year. This year it was almost the same but in a period of about 5 days, so it was not so devastating.

Even now, the weather is weird. We had one summers day this week, the rest of the time it was cold and rainy. Most weird.

Hectic! I'm glad I don't own property on that shoreline. It must be pretty nice to have the sea right on your doorstep though (but scary too).
